Winter

Montana Winters can be harsh. Especially in areas such as West Yellowstone, where some of these images are taken. With some of the coldest recorded temperatures in the lower 48, the mercury can drop to seriously threatening levels. With this harshness however, comes stunning beauty – often achieved when the sun shines on the results of a recent storm.
