David Kern, or Kerny to his friends is a longtime close friend of Craig at Yellowstone Realty Group and was introduced to me by Craig when he was away on a short family vacation. David’s family have long kept a home in Big Sky but when that was sold David wanted to buy a home near Bozeman or Livingston. David is an accomplished Photographer and was looking for a property that would provide space for a studio as well as a garage at least some outside space and ideally and inspiring view. kind of view. When it became clear that central Bozeman would not provide the specified requirements within budget we moved our focus to the areas south of Livingston and ultimately to Trail Creek. There where we found this stunning log cabin and at this point the decision to push the budget was required, and very justified.
